The night started with ACSSU @ York U. representatives meeting up at Wegz Sports Stadium in Vaughan to relax from their school studies and enjoy a night filled with fun and laughter. It was also a great way to celebrate ACSSU’s success in the 2010 Multicultural Week celebrations held at York University.
The 2010 Vancouver Olympics – Opening Ceremony broadcasted at Wegz allowed the Assyrians (also known as Chaldean and Syriac) from York U. to appreciate Canada’s multicultural society and the immense opportunities available to different ethnic groups.
