Introduction to High school
Highschool is probably one of the biggest moments in your life. You will develop your social and intellectual skills and also begin to develop stronger emotions. It is where you will meet new friends and become the person you are destined to be... but you must stay on track or else, you'll lose your bright and promising future. If you're wondering how to stay on track then listen closely to these tips.
Tip 1: Always Pay Attention
It is vital to pay attention not only in class, but to everything else, such as; the announcements, the principal, the vice principals, teachers, friends, etc. Theses people will give you great advice and will probably teach you very important lessons throughout High school to make you a better student and person all around.
Tip 2: Always Do Your Homework and Study
Even if you didn't do your homework in elementary school, it is vital that you finish your homework in High school. Teachers in High school will not tolerate unfinished homework and won't take "I didn't do it" as an acceptable answer. If you do your homework, your chances of passing will greatly increase and remember, failing in High school isn't like elementary school because if you fail, you will have to retake the course. Also don't forget to study for any test, quiz or exam you have if you want to pass.
Tip 3: Participate In Extracurricular Activities.
Make sure to participate as much as possible by playing sports, joining teams/clubs and doing many more things. These will probably be the most memorable and fun things you will experience in High school but if you wish to participate in these you must keep your academics up or else you will be punished. Participating in extra circular activities will shape you and show you what you truly want to become or do in your life.
Tip 4: Make New Friends
Making new friends is very important because you may not see the same friends in every class. Plus the more friends you have, the more people you can trust with things, such as; getting the homework you missed, asking for notes, someone to talk to when your older friends aren't in class and so many more useful things. Also your social skills will improve and you'll never be alone.
So now that you know the most important tips for Highschool, you are now ready to commence your journey into maturity and the most fun time of your life. Remember to do your best and always stay positive.
