ACSSU has helped me in many ways

In the five years that I have been a member of this organization, ACSSU has continuously enriched me with a sense of community and desire to discover my heritage. I’ve learned to collaborate, plan, communicate, and lead with a team that is guided by one common goal; working for our people. I have never been more proud to represent an organization like ACSSU and will always remember the time I spent being a part of this family. Emilia Dinkha

ACSSU is the best thing I've ever stumbled across!

"Seeing my flag in the hallways at York on my first week of university really surprised me. I came from a high school where I was the only Assyrian student. Running into so many of my people, I felt instantly welcomed! Now in my third year, I have been thoroughly involved with ACSSU and have made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. I will forever be thankful to this group and for all it has done to better my life and better the lives of all my Assyrian/Chaldean/Syriac friends! Much love guys!" - Yvette Murad

Thankful for ACSSU

"This will be my sixth year in ACSSU. I originally joined in order to find a social club that would help smooth my transition to University but what I didn't know later down the road was that I would meet people who I would call my family. I met people who inspired me to become a better person, work hard, and to always give something back to my community. Everyday of my life I am thankful that I took that first step to join ACSSU because I have experienced so many joys in my life, whether it was staying up all night planning events or just studying together as a group.- Lark Yousif
